The Los Angeles Clippers have clinched the third seed in the Western Conference after a Spurs loss and a Memphis and Houston win on the last day of the regular season. This means The San Antonio Spurs slipped to the 6th spot in the WC and will therefore face the Clips in the 1st round.
Undeniably, this is a tough match up for the Clips since the Spurs are the defending champions who are highly experience due to the countless trips to the finals and are likely the favourites to win this match-up. Nevertheless, The Clippers like The Spurs finished the season strong and look to win the series and get closer to achieving their championship aspirations.
Both teams went 2-2 in the season series so clearly things could go over way but if the Clips are firing on all cylinders there's no reason to believe they couldn't come out on top against a tough, experience Spurs team.
