Preview: Grizzlies vs Clippers

The five team race for home court advantage in the playoffs seems to only be getting hotter in the closing moments of the regular season. What the final picture in the West's playoff standings will look like feels impossible to determine due huge amount of scenarios that could occur and help determine any team's seeding.

"I've had some tight races down the stretch but never like this" Blake Griffin said. "It goes back to the old 'we can  control what we can control'.

It's undeniable how important winning this game is for the Clips if they want to remain in the race for the West's 2 seed. The Rockets and Clippers are both tied for the 5th seed in the West and 1 game of the Grizzlies'' pace.

The Clippers offense has been impressive all season long and on fire recently with the team averaging 144.4 points per 100 possessions and since they are playing against a team sometimes struggles to score the Clips should look to capitalize while also playing good defense that has been much improved since the all star break. Since NBA's annual break the teams 7th in defensive efficiency.

Both the Grizzlies and Clippers have had entertaining games in the past and this one will likely prove to be no different.
