Fuel added to Clippers - Golden State rivalry after Draymond Green comments

As if the Clippers-GS Warriors rivalry wasn't hot enough already, Draymond Green has added more fuel to the fire as they playoffs draw nearer.

Per Jonathan Abrams of Grantland.com, Green said of the Clips:

They have a cocky arrogance, like they’ve won something, and they haven’t done nothing. They pretty much been to the same spot in the playoffs we’ve been to. But they have this cockiness like you’re supposed to bow down to them. They ain’t proved nothing. They ain’t earned nothing. What respect have you earned?

These controversial comments are clearly going to fuel the Clippers more to beat the warriors come playoffs time if a match-up happens and since the rivalry has been entertaining ever since both franchises produced winning teams this is surely going to take the GS-Clippers rivalry to another gear.

The Clippers have won one game out of the season series with The Warriors while The Warriors have one 3 if the teams square off again in the playoffs the series will be one to remember since the Clips won last years series that went down to an thrilling game 7. However, no matter what team comes out on top of the western conference this year this rivalry is unlikely to slow down any time soon.
